Team India captain has been blessed with a baby girl, on January 11, and his teammates Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin have led wishes on social media.
January 11 was already an iconic day in Indian cricket as it marks the birth anniversary of batting legend Rahul Dravid. But this year it was all the more special with the Indian team producing a brilliant display of Test cricket in pulling off a draw in the Sydney Test against Australia.
To make the day more auspicious in the life of Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl in Mumbai. The Indian skipper took to twitter to share the news
of his baby girl’s birth. Kohli had travelled back to India after the 1st Test in Adelaide to be alongside his wife during the birth of the couple’s first child.
The Indian team today is celebrating a brilliant show of resilience in Test cricket, by the Indian quartet of Ravichandran Ashwin, Hanuma Vihari, Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant. Kohli’s teammates have extended their warm wishes to their captain on being blessed with a baby girl.
Ravichandran Ashwin and Hardik Pandya have welcomed newly-turned father Kohli to their club of parenthood.
